I am trying to find the replacement for my sliding glass door handle.

Hi! We purchased a home without a door handle for our sliding patio door. I've got some measurements of the different holes that I've uploaded to this post - there's not a ton of markings on it, but it does have the text AAMA Sponsored in the door jam. I need a replacement for my patio door handle. See attached photos. It's an old door from the 60's. The handle works I just need to replace the thing on the handle that you hold to open and close the door.

The screws that attach the handle look to be 3.5" or maybe 3 3/8 is actually more accurate. The handle still works but is missing the acrylic handle to grab to slide the door open. I would be interested in just the missing acrylic piece or in the entire handset.

I would like to replace all handles and locks if I knew which handle to buy. Also, I would very much like to replace one of the Handle/locks with one that is keyed on the outside if at all possible. Locking mechanism has been lost. The distance between the holes in the handles is 2.5in.

Recently it seems that the "spring" inside the latch wasn't working / missing as the latch moves up and down now with almost no effort.I took the handle apart and then found two parts on the floor that I suspect dropped out when I took it apart. Been having trouble with my patio door and door handle the last couple of years. Old door with a worn track, so the handle took a lot of beating. Started coming loose and the screws are separating from the opposite handle. Time for a replacement and the hardware stores don't seem to have what I need ... (cont.)

I believe I have the 82-005 handle on my sliding glass doors. Quite old now and the screen door scratches the paint off the handle. Is there anything with less profile so it won't scratch against the screen door?

I believe this is a UniFrame patio door handle that was installed in 1999. It no longer locks and we are hope we can replace it but are unable to find it or anything similar in size at our local stores.

The lock mechanism on my CertainTeed sliding glass door broke in the locked position and I had to cut the two bolts that were anchored into the frame to get the door open. Is a replacement lock mechanism available. If so, will I need to remove the door to replace the lock. I ask about removing the ... (cont.)
