They say my handle is not in production anymore. Surprise. Do you have any advice for a new one?

Recently it seems that the "spring" inside the latch wasn't working / missing as the latch moves up and down now with almost no effort.I took the handle apart and then found two parts on the floor that I suspect dropped out when I took it apart. Been having trouble with my patio door and door handle the last couple of years. Old door with a worn track, so the handle took a lot of beating. I believe I have the 82-005 handle on my sliding glass doors. Quite old now and the screen door scratches the paint off the handle. Is there anything with less profile so it won't scratch against the screen door?

I believe this is a UniFrame patio door handle that was installed in 1999. It no longer locks and we are hope we can replace it but are unable to find it or anything similar in size at our local stores.

The lock mechanism on my CertainTeed sliding glass door broke in the locked position and I had to cut the two bolts that were anchored into the frame to get the door open. Good morning, I have milgard sliding door from 1995. The sliding door handle you could lock with a lever from inside and it is not a keyed lock.
