I need a new handle, my door is drilled for 4 15/16 center, do I have to drill new holes?

Hello, Locking mechanism does not lock; wheel sprocket which catches the hook at mortise does not stay put. Slider is about in the 1960's, no name brand available. I have questions about the part numbers listed. Part 82-306 appears to be the exterior portion of the 82-005. Both items appear to be needed to make one surface mounted handle set with keyed lock. Please confirm so I can order the necessary parts. Thanx

I need a replacement for my patio door handle. See attached photos. It's an old door from the 60's. The handle works I just need to replace the thing on the handle that you hold to open and close the door.

The screws that attach the handle look to be 3.5" or maybe 3 3/8 is actually more accurate. The handle still works but is missing the acrylic handle to grab to slide the door open. I would be interested in just the missing acrylic piece or in the entire handset.
