Hello, I have been unable to find an exact match for this handle. Or even a very close one. I've tried 3 handles and have had to return them all. Sorry, it is 5 inches between the screws holes. The patent for the Canadian # 919213 says 1973. The part I ordered is # 82-020. The screws are to short and smaller diameter, as ours are 2 3/4. We purchased the door in 1983. The patent number for US is 3596954. Can you advise and also email me a r ... (cont.)

It says 919213 on the handle - I would like a whole new handle kit . The nail holes look to be about 4 inches apart.

PAT.NO. 3596954 i need the whole piece.

this has a wooden handle that is 11" and outside aluminum handle that is 6 1/4". the inside portion has the latch lever coming out of the right side of the mount. The latch is a hook style and insert is about 4 1/4" as shown in pictures.

The locking mechanism is faulty. When you move the lever, the latch sometimes moves and sometimes does not. Using WD-40 on the part did not fix the problem and made it worse. The house was built in 1987. Can you provide a replacement part?
