82-226 Mortise Lock, 4-5/8"

Want a key to fit this door handle. Didn't get any when moved in to house.

Only markings are an artistic S and C. When I looked on YouTube for repair videos, I noticed how many were posted by Swisco. The door I'm repairing opens from left to right.

I need to replace the inner working of this handle so it latches properly. Can you tell me what parts I can purchase that will work?

When I try to lock the door and the hook touches the side of the re-sever the hook falls down. I bought a new one at Menards and the hook still falls down. Will your lock hook not drop down when you lock the door if it bumped.

This is likely an American Craftsman 500 series. The outer hole spacing is 3 7/8", the inner 1 1/2".

My sliding door is approximately 25 years old. The locking mechanism has broken and I'm trying to replace it. There are no numbers or identifying markings on the door or the mechanism. The door is vinyl on the outside and wood on the inside.

Hello, I'd like to replace the handles and keyed lock set for my patio doors. They are two doors that slide to meet together with a mortise lock; it may be a Weathershield. Can you tell me which mortise lock I need? The original unit has been removed so I don?t have an original to match. The opening is nearly 4.5inches and the width is nearly 3/4 of an inch with the depth of 1.5 inches.

I need a mortise lock with 3 9/16" installation hole centers. My lock is identical in design to your item #82-226 Mortise Lock 4 5/8", only smaller. From end to end, the lock is 4 5/8" in length (unlike your #82-226 that is 6 1/8" in length), but the hole centers are only 3 9/16", unlike your item ... (cont.)

RE the 82-226. Can the turning lever be adjusted so that it is vertical when locked and at 3 o clock when unlocked.
