82-226 Mortise Lock, 4-5/8"

I am trying to find the parts needed to replace the lock on this type of door. The locking part does not fully latch with the plate and when it does it is easy to yank free. Thank you for your help

I haven't removed this yet. Is it possible to determine which lock replacement I need without removing? Thanks, Adam

The exterior handle has a threaded sleeve that attaches the screws from the inside handle. One sleeve is broken. Center line is 3.937. Sliding door is SGD-R20-96X96 / SERIES 870 / AAMA. Thanks ! Dan

I am rebuilding a sliding patio door on my mother's home. The original door handle and locking mechanism are missing. Can you identify which handle and lock I would need by the pictures. The door will not lock. It seems the finger won't extend care enough to catch. The adjustment screw did not seem to help. Want a key to fit this door handle. Didn't get any when moved in to house.

Only markings are an artistic S and C. When I looked on YouTube for repair videos, I noticed how many were posted by Swisco. The door I'm repairing opens from left to right.

When I try to lock the door and the hook touches the side of the re-sever the hook falls down. I bought a new one at Menards and the hook still falls down. Will your lock hook not drop down when you lock the door if it bumped.

This is likely an American Craftsman 500 series. The outer hole spacing is 3 7/8", the inner 1 1/2".

My sliding door is approximately 25 years old. The locking mechanism has broken and I'm trying to replace it. There are no numbers or identifying markings on the door or the mechanism. The door is vinyl on the outside and wood on the inside.
