When you try and turn to lock or unlock, the hook in the lock set mechanism won't extend out or retract properly. The handle was already taken off the door before I took a picture of it installed.

I recently purchased this home and I would like to change the hardware as it is lose and for security purposes. We do not have the Existing key and we don't like the idea of not knowing who might have that key. I would either like to replace it with the same model or I am open to replacing it with a ... Sliding glass door is approx. 17 years old, guessing from sticker (see attached). There are 4 holes in door frame for handle (first three holes are about same size, last hole at bottom is smaller - see attached), but do not know if they're all from latest lock. I can't risk taking it apart again. The broken part of the upper screw is stuck in the outer handle. We have lived in the house 4 years and our neighbor said the other people that remodeled was about 9 years ago. There are no visible marks, names or serial numbers on the parts. The 2 screws that ... Need a new set

I am looking for a replacement hardware for my patio door. I don't see any markings on the brand but on the inside of the exterior pull it does say FPL Door Lock and then two letters I can't make out and the number 19. Can you help identify the part.

Spacing of holes is approx. 6 1/8 inches

Interior handle is broken. Locking mechanism and exterior handle function as normal. Trying to find a replacement for interior handle. I can replace the whole set if need be. I am unable to identify what part I am looking for to replace handle.

2300-1063-4 is the numbers on the side

I beleive it is a Vetter door from the early 90's. There appears to be a spring inside that doesn't move when the latch is rotated.

Hoping to get this locking mechanism identified without uninstalling it yet as it is still locking with some finagling. The lever on the handle feels loose and isn't fully operating the hook mechanism and it is getting stuck in the housing.

Well the latch flipper thingy doesn't push the hook out any more. Took out cleaned with WD. IF I hold it upside down it comes out. the handle assembly looks like the one you have. Wooden handle with black metal and the lock flippy handle is also black. Outside does not have a key. Obviously ... (cont.)

When I move the switch down, the hook doesn't move. When I move the switch up, the hook pops out momentarily then back in. To lock the door, I have to pry the hook out with my finger, shut the door, and move the switch down. I don't know if the problem is with the handle switch or the hook mechanism ... (cont.)
