are there replacements for this type of window?

Hi we have ~18 windows that all need balances. I am unsure what specifically the ones we have are, though I suspect they are spiral balances. Attached photo's of broken balance. Sashs are 22#, lower sash is 28" tall, overall window 53 1/4(?). Photo's show; tube attachement at top, I expect the top o ... (cont.)

Looks like 30.25" with yellow tip and long bracket.

House was built in 1950 and some of the double hung windows need help operating. Need some spiral lift/balance system replacement parts.

These are from window double hung windows from the 1950s. One window is stuck and wont shut.

Need to match up this spiral balance combo. The clip screws to bottom of the window. Balance is 25" long. Its for an old non tilt aluminum window.

The picture shows the lower attachment of the spiral balance. The lower attachment is bent, it should be straight. Could you please let me know what attachment that is? Thanks

I need new balance springs for sash windows but I dont know ow what ones and where to buy

I've look everywhere and can't find anything similar to it. I belive is a 3/8 x 27

Good morning, I am looking for non-tilt spiral balances in two sizes. One is 17" for a 5lb window, the other is 21" for an 8lb window. I am looking for the closest style of bracket to my original, as that is what my windows are calling for.

It is 26" long 1/2" diameter...

The old balance springs are 27" long and have yellow tips. I attached a picture - apparently they had plastic covers which are mostly gone. I found a replacement but I'm not sure I have the right one. Also I need the attachment for the bottom of the window. It looks most similar to the red-tipped 2 ... (cont.)

I have a few windows that havent been replaced and they do not stay up. There are two which i have pictured by approximate width and height. (they do not come out, or at least i dont know how to get them out. The part that attaches to base of window, i dont recognize on any of your pictures. I'm loo ... (cont.)

I find no identifying markings on them. They originally were incased in plastic tubes,which have broken and caused jamming and deformation of the springs. I need four of the longer ones and two of the shorter ones. I beleive them to be 5/8" diameter. The windows, though I haven't weighed them, I wou ... (cont.)

Looking for replacement. Tubes are 33 inches long, about 5/8 inch in diameter and the sash weight is nine pounds. Window is double hung maybe from 1960s or so. Also, if no replacement parts, can we clean them/ lubricate and reuse? Thanks

I need to know what balances I need to replace these as well as I need the shoes that attach to the window

Restoring late 1930s windows with tube balances. The balances are secured to the sash on the bottom of the sash.

My house is 87 years old. Someone screwed the broken windows shut. Every one of these windows needs spiral replacement. They are 27 inch with a bracket screwed to bottom of window.
