The information I have is the following. These are Jordan windows, series 25 thermal barrier aluminum single hung. The building is about 24 or 25 years old. The balances are printed as follows : 28 3 Caldwell JM.

Replacing channel balances and retainers clips in old Jordan windows (house built in 1991). Appears the best choice is Series 390-29 Option 2840 at 29". Retainer clips are #16-002. 1992 Jordon windows. Two sizes: one 23" channel, one 29" channel. Please see attached photos. Ends are the same for both. The 23" channel is part of a 48"w x 48"h window. I have a broken channel balance but was able to find that part (S351-31), but I'm having trouble finding the correct sash guide. I think it may be 18-018, but not certain. I have used the 18-166 to replace the broken ones, however, it seems that the plastic 18-166 was not strong enough. Can I use Aluminum Top Sash Guide, 18-010? or if you have other better ones. Thanks, Vince
