Thank you for your helpful video on how to identify a part! I can't get a picture of it installed because it's hidden on the side of the sliding aluminum window. It's a channel balance (I think that's what it's called). 24 3 GL Caldwell 25 inches long (metal length only)

Looking for a replace per the photos. Non tilt window. Rod is 25 inches long, about 1/2 in width. Says 24 4 AO Caldwell on the rod. Thanks!

Hi - see attached photos. Appears to be a Caldwell with marking 24 4 JK CALDWELL It is 1/2" width (per your instructions) Metal portion length is 24 and 7/8ths inches Neither plastic end has a wing (you'll probably notice one is cracked) Can you recommend the right replacement? Thanks! ... (cont.)

I'm looking for window channel balances. They are 25" in length (Just the metal channel portion) The part # listed on the balance is 24S088081-31F. I do not have the sash weight at this time but was hoping the information provided would help

I believe these are 25 inch channel balances with a rating of 2430 but I just am not sure of the series

We have determined we need the 390 balance for our non tilt aluminum windows.24" metal lengthCurrent (old) stamp says 2420 and there is only one sash balance in the windows and I guess we want to stick with single balance.(Not sure of exact window weight)Which stamp should be buy for the 390 balance ... Unfortunately both springs came loose from window. There is a part number on the channel section, 2430Y

Stamped with part no 2430Al channel is 25" long. Hook is broken off the end of the spring. Need entire assembly or just the spring?And I have another pair stamped 1620 with an AL channel length of 17". This is the 1620 but they look the same.

The first three pictures are 25" x 1/2 (2440) , the last two are 17" x 1/2" (1630). Before purchasing I saw several that looked alike and I want to make sure its the right ones before purchasing .

Hello, I need to replace 3 sets of window balances. On one of the balances the stamp is 24 - 3 CR Caldwell. On the other one it is difficult to read but appears to read 15 - 2 LP. When I measure each with a measuring tape. Excluding the plastic ends the 24-3 CR measures 25 inches. The 15 - 2 LP ... (cont.)

They measure 25' metal to metal.The only stamp is 2420.Do you think i need one for each side? 2 windows are involved. Thanks
