Hello. I have a window that cannot be opened. I managed to remove the window sash and balancers. Looks like the balancers and top stoppers are broken too. The balancer marking says 2730. Please help me identify parts I need to get this window working again. Thank you. Nik

Hi, I have a window channel balance that "almost" meets all the dimensions for S390-28 / 2740. The only two dimensions that are off are 1. The shoe depth, which is ~ 1-1/16 rather than 1-1/8. 2. The length of the channel is 27.5" rather than 27 or 28. However, the channel is marked with 27 ... (cont.)

I need help identifying the replacement channel balance. The stamp on my channel says 2730 AD B.S.I. The shoe has a depth of 1-1/16(worn down from 1-1/8?), and doesn't have wings. The metal channel measures 28". The sash weighs 16.5 pounds. Thanks!

I have Alenco windows. Only the bottom sash moves. I need a set of channel balance as well as a set of replacement retaining clips (the ones used to remove the lower sash). I need 2 Balances. 1/2" wide. The metal channel length is 27 15/16"'s. The window weight is about 19.8 pounds. The window balances that were installed, are probably to heavy - strong for the weight of this window. The is a part number on one of the attached photos. Thank you.

Looks like a NG mark. I see several balance springs for 27' glass (28" channel), but the one i have has a stamp saying 2790. I only see 2770 as the highest weight capacity. I am not able to weigh the sash and wondering if it may be heavier than 39 lbs. Do you know if the spring sizes have changed? Thanks ... (cont.)

I need 4ea balance springs, metal channel is 1/2" by 28" without top & bottom pieces. #2740 stamped on side. I need 8ea of the little tiny clips the go on the sides of the sash. I need 2ea of the latches, holes are 2 1/4 in on center, opening for the striker is 3/8th of an inch.

The bracket holding the pulley system to the metal channel is bent and broken. The channel has the number 2740CG stamped on it and the channel is 28 inches long. The spring seems to be in good shape!
