Hi there. I have some vinyl windows in my home of unknown origin. The one in the bathroom decided to come crashing down. Both balances are broken. There are no markings on them and i have no clue how to remove them or measure them for the correct one . Can you help ?

It has .5 stamped on it. It fell and cracked so you see a whole in the side. It wasn't there originally.It's double hung window in the bathroom. It's about 10 to 15 years old. Thank you.

All I see is a #4 on these plastic pcs.

Need part id for this. Has pat# 5.353.548. Approx 4" tall 1" wide. Tension seems to work ok, but upper housing broken. Also I don't see cut out to remove. Good Afternoon, I ordered 15-087, 15-086, 16-024, 26-089, and S180 Coils with 33-072 Screw. Are there full installation instructions on how to get both Coils and parts in the jamb? Is ther a trick to getting both Coils on the Bracket? Thank you very much!

Hi I have an American Craftsman window with a lower sash that has broken/missing coil springs and housing. There is a hook where two spring is attached and is under constant tension . The number on these two balance is 6 and 5 on each side of window. I do not see a part # but I found a couple #'s on the broken springs. One shows a 5 the other shows a 6. I am looking for the entire part including the housing and tilt mechanism. Thanx for this site!

I ordered Coil housing pivot, tandem coil housing and two new coils. My question is how to align up both coils (since one is stacked above the other) so that both of the hols in the coils can be secured in the frame via those holes. I have a window where both coil balances assemblies are broken. One of the mounting brackets are missing and both tilt latches are not functional. The only number I see on the removable coil is JD8 and see PAT 5,353,548.

I cannot figure out how to release the sash from the balance. Can you provide instructions? I've watched several of your videos, but none apply to this type.

I have included the pictures of the current window balance spring and shoe. I need both the left and right side replacement springs for this window. The spring number is 6JK, so 6 pound springs? Attached is the window size. Thank you, Kevin

The window weighs 13.5 lbs. Both coils damaged just purchased and replaced in July. One snapped One bent. Please advise?
