Hello. I'm sure it's due to abuse on our part (I have three boys under the age of 6), but I'm not sure how it snapped to begin with. Window installer called it boot but maybe it is a shoe? It's the thing on inside of frame that allows window to go up/down and perhaps valances the window.

I need to replace this constant force balance system in a single hung window measuring 35 3/4 x 59 3/4 in an 85 series single hung window. The number is faded but it appears to have the number 9 for LB rating.

Window in my house had coil balances both sides. They have broken and window has no balance. 3485 right side (inside house)3482 right top piece 3480 left top piece. I am not an expert on coils but I think this had a double coil both sides. The original window was a Capitol Windows and Doors 8500 ... (cont.)

Looking for want replacement part I need to buy for a MI window coil spring. On one side of the window, the spring broke and the window will not stay open. Hi, I'm looking for replacement balances for our double hung tilt windows. It's a "no name" brand. The dimension is 1/2" wide by about 1' diameter of the coil. The windows size is 37" X 23" each. Hi,I am hoping to get some help identifying the complete coil balance and sash guide parts for this window. The upper part of the coil balance is 3 1/2" high and 1" wide. This coil broke in two and there are no markings. Can you identify so we can order a pair? This coil did have a number 8 stamped on the coil where it would attach to the shoe.Thank youMike
