HI I determined that the window that I want to repair the sash balance is an Anderson. In the lower left corner is the AW in a triangle and the code xi R in a circle with breaks at 3, 6, 9, 12. Hi Swisco, I need to replace a couple of counter weight balances on my Anderson windows. The stamped numbers on the tab are very hard to read or get a complete number. Hey please see attached sticker on window frame. The string does not retract into the balancer. Is the balancer serviceable? Or will it need to be replaced?
