24-837 Andersen Sash Balance, 823, 827, 831, 837

I have a broken guide string on one side of the window and need to replacement my sash balance. This is an Andersen window. Should I do this in pairs or just do the one side that is broken?

This is what is stamp on balance w10 827 2-88 21-0091 it is a anderson narrowline built in 1988 is ypur product #24-837 the correct part for this window before I order it

the lower glass is 28.25 wide by 23.75 high (could be 23 7/8 high) which Anderson sash balance would I need.

My double hung windows are 29 years old. Openning is approx 28"x61". Top sash is 31" tall, bottom is 31.5" tall. Looking at the balances, the left one (looking on inside) has numbers F1 8 31 2 0 stamped on it, the right one has 11600-2 on it. do you have replacements for these models ? ... (cont.)

We are trying to find the right replacement balance box for Anderson Narrow Line windows. The glass on the double hung window measures 28" x 56". I have Anderson double hung windows. I need to replace a sash balance. The lower pane glass measures about 32 1/2 by 20 /12 inches. Thanks for posting. Please take a look at our 24-837 Andersen sash balance, which can replace balance boxes with the stamp 827.

We took apart all of our different windows and wrote down the numbers stamped on the balances. The pictures we took make it almost impossible to see the stamping but are attached in case you need them.
