Old andersen window balance
I'm trying to repair an old Andersen window where the sash balancer has failed. I've attached pictures. It appears to me the part numbers are 11600-17. Hi, My house was built in1987, the window size about 35.5 (W) x 53 in (H), the balancer dimensions are 6.75 end to end x 3 in x .0.75 in thick. Balancer has Andersen Minn 11600-17 and heavier stamp E 10#27 7 87. Please advice balancer that fits my specs.

Which of your replacement parts matches this right side sash balance "BS5 1027 7-88" also marked 11600-17.I will need the left as well. This is from an Andersen narrow line double hung glass etched "CIG-2 3-88" from ~1989Both rt and Lft have same markings

However, I am confused because the original has holes in the center for mounting and for mounting the header rail. I am looking for anderson sash balances, but cannot match the stamped numbers to the ones on your website. There are 10 stamped BL6 10#31 10-84, and 2 stamped D97 8#31 2-84. I have old Andersen windows with string balance..... the code stamps on one size is E19 9 27 4? ....and 615 10 31 R71 this second number is a cottage window so will need opposite balance as well

Windows were installed in the early 90's, so I've gotten as far as figuring out they have to be 200 series Narroline windows. Based on the measurements of the glass, 28 7/16 wide x 27 15/16 high, I've narrowed it down some on Andersen's site, but they still list 8 different options there. ... (cont.)
