...a friction shoe for my wood windows. I think it was a cardaco window, and I see that in other posts you've suggested a 15-104 friction shoe, however it looks like it is a little different on the top and i don't know if the back side fits on the same track or not.

I see no numbers or information about the window manufacturer. I can see that the bottom of the plastic window piece, that has the spring attached at the top, has broken off. This piece mounted to the bottom of a spring is supposed to be connected to the bottom of the window with a post going through that hole, but the piece is broken at the bottom, so the post slipped right through and the spring retracted entirely. The pivot pin in the picture is a Torx Head Pivot Pin by MALTA Have been unable to locate any to date.

My windows are double hung 8 pane wood circa 1984 tilt out windows that slide on two full length plastic tracks that contain two 18 1/2" springs for balancing the windows. I have 12 Malta windows from the 1990's. The small plastic parts that hold the pully/wheels for the balance spring strings are crumbling. I am hoping to retro-fit a balance into the jamb fit liner. My technician ran into a tilt pin/sash pivot bar per the attached picture. This was reputedly from a 1995 Windsor Aluminum Clad Double Hung window. Can you identify the pin and what it is from and/or a replacement?
