One of the coil attachments (photo 1) in my 2006 vintage Simonton window has cracked and released the coil. I need to replace the mechanism. The second photo is the window code sticker found at the top of the window.

Hello I need to replace some window balances. The window information I have is 8026728/10 Unit: 35.5000 65.5000, G1: 31.5000 30.1250. I need to replace all the balances for 3 windows so six balance assemblies total.

I believe I need a new coil balance for my window. I attached two pictures. The first one is a part (part # 801020) that would work, but is too tall. It is approx 4.5 inches tall. The existing housing has become brittle has started to fall part (It has on at least 2 windows). This is my first repair. I replaced the coil springs and housing. The issue is the new housing is a box. If I move the window up or down pass the new housing, I will break off the tabs on the tilt win ... (cont.)
