These balances came out of a EUROCRAFT window. seems to be stamped with a 6. I need the left side, if Im looking from the inside.

I have what I believe to be Slocomb double hung, EFG-K-3 windows. I cannot remove the parts from the track yet since there is no cutout notch to remove them and will likely need a jam spreader. I have Feldco windows and one will not stay open. I found some broken parts, the bottom bracket and I think the other parts are some type of springs. I don't know if the label has any info that helps, but I included that.

Hello My window balance appears to be broken. I'm not sure where to order parts.

Would like to purchase a left and right coil window balancer 6 pound, this is the picture of what it looks like.

Bottom pivot lock broke. Haven't removed from track yet as there are no cut-outs. The only markings I can see are on the top lock/spring is "6R". We have a bathroom window that opens at both top and bottom. Sometimes we have both windows open at the same time. Our top window slammed shut and after inspecting things, it looks like the upper left coil is the problem. It has #79 on it. The window can only be completely opened or locked shut. We' ... (cont.)

These windows are about 20 years old and were installed before we purchased the home. Both bathroom windows failed in the same manner, the coil spring snapped, leaving the window unable to hold itself open. Each window has two springs and each spring is stamped 6R. Thanks for the help! ... (cont.)

It looks like the S140 is what I need. Can you tell me if it uses a round or flat pivot bar. The spring code on the old broken spring is a letter F, does that mean its a 6 pound spring?
