Got the 82-265 mortise lock from Swisco and installed it, but it is impossible to get the hooks to open all the way from either the inside or the outside with key. Are there any adjustments that can be made to make the latches open more easily, or can it be lubricated to help open them? ... (cont.)

Cannot find any marking on this locking mechanism except "Pat Pend" stamped on the lower outside corner. Only one hook of the double hook mechanism works correctly. Spring and arm are broken on the lower clasp. I pulled lower clasp out manually for this photo. Hardware was included with builder ... (cont.)
