24-L8-1227 Andersen Sash Balance, L8 1227

Looking to order the replacement sashes for the above windows. Picture is for the right and left sash.

I have two large Andersen windows. The upper sash is (H) 3 95/8 x 32 3/4. The lower sash is (H)27 x 32 3/4. They are at leasr 26 years old, probably more. I need to replace the balances. They are 6.5 x 3 x 3/4. All the is legible is the No. 11600 on the balance.What do I need? Thanks, Ron ... (cont.)

Hard to read the number clearly, but looking at the photo of the sash balance (included above), it looks like R127827...??? The windows were installed when the house was built in 1989. Thanks for writing in. Based on that stamp, you should see our 24-R12-827. However, please note that this balance is only for the right-hand side of the sash. For the left-hand side of the sash, you will need the 24-L8-1227. Keep in mind also that Andersen defines the left and right by looking at th ... (cont.)

I have a double-hung window from the late 1980s - it is a Narroline and the window lower right side etching says AW 88 /1. Upper window is approx. 23 7/8 inches high and approx. 28 1/2 inches wide. Bottom window is approx. 35 7/8 inches high and approx. 28 1/2 inches wide.

Just pulled a bad balance out of my son-in-law's window. Window is an Andersen narrowline cottage style. Balance is clearly labeled as L8/1227.
