I am looking to put a key lock on this door

Our sliding door handle broke off. This is a picture of the inside handle and thumb latch. The handle is 3 5/16. Door thickness is 1.5 inches. I've purchased 2 different handles but neither did the trick. We also need a new mortise lock. The exterior handle needs to have a lock on it. Looking for an ... (cont.)

how far dose the handle stick out toward the screen door. need to make sure the screen door passes the handle. thanks Pete

Bolt center is 3 15/16"

The mortise lock is broken. Can I just replace the lock or do I need to replace the handle and lock? Thanks
