I have casement windows with internal mounted screens without cranks, which makes it very inconvenient to open the windows. These windows are original to the house, which was built in 1952. I need awning window parts for a Caradco window. The length of the brass armature closed is 21.5 inches. The number stamped on the brass arm is 30086. The number stamped on the piece that houses the the gears and holds the crank is 40245. The paint color is Caradco Bronze.

Need to fix this with same parts or something else that would work and match. Help Please

Hi, When I turn to the right to close window the inner spindle and top nut pops out and unscrews itself. It does not come entirely out but I can screw it back in and put nut back on. I have this operator on a vinyl replacement window. I would like to use this unit on an Andersen wood awning window from the 1960's. It's 41" wide x 18" high. I think I can modify the sash to receive the scissor hardware but I'm not sure if it will push that wide a window out properly. I like the 15 ... (cont.)
