We are trying to fix this window which does not go up & down. you can slide it up but then some strong object or sturdy glass bottle has to be used to prop it up. replacing Simonton Coil Blance, Pivot Bar, single support
I purchased 15-259, 26-083, 15-255 and S159-07 to fix my Simonton windows but the coil balance pivot shoe does not fit in the opening in the vinyl track of my windows. For Milgard Window # on channel = 13 2 Both top & shoe are winged Metal channel length is 13-5/8 Not sure how to measure shoe, it does not equal either 1" (model 380) or 1-3/32" (model 385). Sranek block and tackle window balancer
Looking to replace four (2 paiirs) Stanek window balancers. C-channel is 30in long, 9/16in wide, 9/16in deep. The rivet holding the spring toward the top is centered 2-3/16in from the top edge. I'm pretty sure I've figured out the right balances; just sending info I have to check. The windows are Peachtree double hung, non-tolt. I believe they are Ariel model. Over 30 years old. Number on downstairs window balance is 4254C. Length is 23-1/4", weight is about 23 lbs
