Hi my doors are about 2yrs old, but everytime I've opened my sliding screens they either go too far, and sometimes get caught, or when I close them, they stay open on one side because they are not perfectly centered which lets flies into my house. I am replacing the spiral balance for the upper tilt-in window sash. Should the balance hold the window all the way up? Right now the replacement balance lets the upper sash drop about 2 inches if the lower sash is opened. There is only a half screen (lower) and the open upper sash would allow pe ... (cont.)

I have Jeld-wen screen doors and the leading edge has a gap of about half inch (vertical leading edge between slide door and frame).
