I have removed the spiral balance springs from my Alcoa tilt windows. I have 6 windows (identicle) that I need to replace the spiral balance springs. I have 2 identical windows about 15 years old without name brand. One of the windows is missing both channel balances. I have Andersen Windows that may be 30 years old. The interior window is a casement window but there is also an exterior window (similar to a storm window?) that has these little clips that hold it in.
