Please see attached pictures. The balances I need to replace measure 28 1/2", measuring the tube only. I do not know whether to order 28 or 29" replacements. They are 3/8 diameter with a red tip. Please advise. Thanks.

I plan to 30" Series 351 Channel Balance (2960) to replace a broken one in my non-tilt window. My question concerns what is stamped on the balance. It says, "29 6 HS or H5 Caldwell." The reference numbers provided are 4 digit and the numbers on my balance are 3 digit. Bill

The actual MI Window is from Series 740. The ID info located on the actual window are: AAMA-NWWDA-101.1.S-2-97 & H-r45-52x71. A spring attaches to this "shoe" that rides in the window sash

I need to obtain the part that the handle attaches to in order to crank the window open and closed. The one window just has the opening but I took a picture of the working part once I removed the handle. Thanks for the help.
