replacement window gear for casement window
The spiral mechanism that connects with the gears that move and open the window is broken off on the end and will not close the window. It says 'Truth Entry Guard' but the piece that connects to the gear is angled and the replacement part #39-036 is not angled. The measurements are also different. ... (cont.)

Where to install 20-001?
I installed the 20-001 sash spring on the bottom of my bottom sash(es) because the cord sash opening on the top of the bottom sash was so large that I couldn't attach the nail (there was noting to pund it into). Broken Sliding Glass Door Handle
My door handle broke on my sliding glass door. The handle is a DorWal with a #L120 located on the inside of the handle. The holes connecting the sides are 3.5" apart. Can you remove the cam from the pivot shoe
The pivot bar on my window was badly rusted and when I tried to remove the sash the bar broke leaving a rusty end stuck in the pivot shoe. What I want to know is can the colored rotating part of the shoe be removed from the white sliding part. This might make it easier do pry or drill out the rust ... (cont.)

spiral balance for a non-tilt window
I want to find a spiral balance to replace the ones in the lower sashes of my non-tilt wood windows. The existing balances sit in a channel in the sides of the sash. Broken tension string in window Channel balance
Hello, one of my window channel balances recently broke (the tension string). How do I go about ordering the correct one? There are no markings other than the numbers and letters listed below: 28.5 GX CMC 11 The metal part is about 28.5 inches and the width is 1/2". Thank you
