Looking to replace a broken window balance but need to find the correct part. Looking at it in the sash I can see it stamped with 5 27 Spaced like that. I don't see a 527 part number on the site. Suggestions as to the correct one to purchase? These seem to be the original windows in the house ... (cont.)

This part is used on aluminum windows that open vertically and they help the window stay open. The tube is 21 inches long and the OD is 3/8 inch. I cannot find markings on the sliding patio door that it goes on,but I did find that a lock 82-008K will fit the patio door. I don't know if it is a Daryl or not. It was installed in or about 1971. My season all aluminum windows have an exterior vinyl skirt at the bottom of the lower sash that I suppose is designed to help keep out air. It is very deteriorated and needs to be replaced. Does anyone manufacture this component?

I just purchased item S380-25 / 25" series 380 channel balances and when I went to install I realized that just about all of the "sash guides" were broken.
