I need replacements, left and right, for the balance in the picture. It is an Andersen window balance that is stamped with 11600-17 and, I think, D96 7/27 1233. The last number is difficult to make out.

I found my part however it is the wrong color and it looks like it needs an atachment. Joel

The vinyl top track on my Andersen perma Shield 6' door is cracked. Will this work with that door? Its an andersen SP6. The new track and screen from andersen seems way too expensive and I am looking for alternatives. Thank you!

Hi, here is another window I need to fix the lock on. There are several windows in my house that have these locks, the screws seem to be stripping the plastic and not staying in tight, which then doesn't let the window lock work. Is there a way to fix this? use bigger screws? thank you ... (cont.)

I do need a set of channel balances--my failed one measures 1/2" across by 29" in length, and are stamped "28 3 Caldwell EM". my home was built in 1992 i have several of these locks needing to be changed where they been broken off where can i find the replacement locks for these "ALENCO" locks ?

What would you recommend for a replacement option for a Truth operator p\n 40056? Side note; I really like your site. The little things make a difference.

The inside handle does not come off the door frame. There is one screw hole that goes through the door and screws to the part shown. The bottom of the handle is probably welded to the door.

Please recommend which balance to order. I can not tell which series is appropriate. Attached are several photos that should help identify the channel balance. It looks like the 58-164 will work in my mothers windows. My question is how does it fit into the groove? You can't slide it in from the side as the side of the window is there so is it flexible enough to slip in from the front? Thanks Jim
