I think I need a 385, but could you confirm. The length of the metal is 28" The marking on the metal is "27 3" (See Image) The ends are shown in the pictures. I believe I need 15-004, because the dimension is 1 3/32".

The roller in the channel balance is split, not allowing the string to retract, therefore keeping the spring in the stretched position. It is a PGT aluminum window if that matters? Thumb latch is broken in locked position. Have 2 doors with same latch type ... but facing opposite direction. Most photos are from door with un-broken latch.
