Crank does not operate. Shaft comes off with handle. Will not operate window. Need new mechanism.

2 long vertical windows with cranks to open- not functiong. Able to open the windows but unable to close them without having to go outside and push the windows shut. Unsure of we need the whole crank/lock system replaced or which specific parts.

The images are of a 1993 Metal Industries doors and windows operator. There are two screws on each side of the operator. The screw heads are outside and hold the unit to the frame.
