39-140 Dual Arm Crank, 16"

I am trying to fix this window crank. The handle with gear keeps coming out. I am assuming that the entire crank assembly needs replacing. Please advise.

This is Truth Hardware. Arms are just over 16" and have number 30896. They attach to a part number 45142, shown in picture W 2, that has 5 screw holes. It fits through an opening that is 4 5/8". The hinges click onto a part that is 3 "long--picture 3.

Looking for 2 each of the attached Truth Window Crank part number stamped on my window crank is 40510 and 40511

I am looking for the replacement handle and spindle for a Truth 45206 window hinge. Is this something you carry or can help me locate? Any help is greatly appreciated. This is for an area that has limited funding so I am trying to keep from having to replace the entire assembly.

Hi, I called MW manufacturing (now PlyGem). They told me the awning window used Truth hardware and was dual arm. I need some help identifying exactly what operator (and I will probably buy a new handle, as well) I should buy. Thank you! Mel

Hello, I have three of these windows and I need replacement parts for all three including the crank handle. Please advise-Paul

Windows are Alside U1000, circa late '90's. Straight cranks protrude too far and interfere with blinds. Crank is 3 1/16" L. Looks like 40085 stamped inside. Winder keeps pushing out when closing window

The crank on our awning window doesn't operate - crank won't catch internally and just spins loosely inside the slot. It looks like the previous owner did a DIY fix by drilling partway through the mechanism but if that worked at one point, it doesn't anymore. I think we may need to replace the whole ... (cont.)

The window crank housing threads for the brass retainer appear to be worn and damaged so will not lock in the main crank stem.

The window is a Kolbe awning. Unit size is 24"x24". The handle opens the window but when attempting to close the window it unwinds itself and comes out of its opening. The hardware on the window appears to be OK. Is it possible to get the handle with the working gear?
