15-177 Coil Balance Shoe, Slate Blue

I have a 15-177 shoe with broken screw applied 3/8" coil. What coil should I use so I don't have to buy new shoe or pivot bar? Not sure if 1/2" coil will work? I'm sure of the shoe part number not the coil?

I need the springs the both hold the windows up for both sides but I don't know what kind of windows they are I do know that the windows wait 8 pounds if that helps and here's the picture

I was tilting a window in to clean it and the sash pivot bar and one of the pivot lock shoes broke. I was wondering if it is possible to repair the window and if so, if one of these is the correct part. I have 2 new Pivot Bars, code #26-226 - to fit into the Coil Balance Shoes, code #15-177 on my vinyl window. Now that the parts are all in place, I'm finding it impossible to get the window back in place because I can't get the Pivot Bars to fall in place on the Balance Shoe slots. The Balance ... (cont.)

Hello, I bought the S140-13 Quick Tilt Balance thinking it would be a drop in replacement/upgrade for my broken coil balance. This looks like a 15-177. Measurements appear to be the same. The metal half moon part broke on both sides of the sash as you can see in the pics. Both springs appear in good condition. Can you confirm part #. No markings listed on it. Thanks, Doug

generic windows with no identification. Broken are these pivot arms that are located in the lower position in all double hung windows in this home. There are a couple broken. Can anyone help me find replacements?

Can you help me please. My coil springs on my double hung window lower sash are broken. Lower sash is 31.5" wide, 19.25" deep, 16lb weight. Stamped marking on coil could be either 10 or 19, I cannot tell. the Window has NO manufacturer identification on it. It is acrylic, and was installed about 3 ... (cont.)

I purchased the S140-11. However, my pivot bars dont fit.My pivot bar is 26-226. But, I need the complete coil balance and shoe as I the old ones are shot.

The coil has broken on my vinyl window. There are not any markings to indicate the manufacturer or weight. The sash is 28 X 30. Double pane.

Your 15-177 shoe looks exactly like those I need to replace except that the brake looks black not slate blue. Is that from age or is mine a different part? Same dimensions Thanks John

Why do these break constantly. It seems they get a kink in them and then break

I have an aluminum, double hung, tilt window of unknown make. Window (including frame) is 27 1/4" tall. I need to replace 2 complete assemblies as shown in attached pic. Coil stamped 407-S. I apologize that I do not have a picture of the product installed. The only stamps that I can identify are 6(or C)K on the coil and the letter P on the inside of the plastic housing.
