I have a two coil balance that I need to get. If possible I need to get just that metal piece where the sash pivot bar sits in. Unfortunately I can't find the weight indicator anywhere.

Please help identify this coil spring, pivot bar and shoe. The coil is 1/2" wide. The pivot bar is 3" long. The sash weighs 14lbs.

I think this is the shoe I want. I am enclosing pictures to show you what fits into my current shoe, and pictures of the current pivot shoe. I think your 15-180 is what I need (if it has a T head. The pictures will show you what I mean.

Hi Swisco, I recently had a horrible experience with Alside windows. Both coil balances on a double-hung replacement window had broken, causing the window to slam shut. Even with their "lifetime warranty", it took about 3 months(!) for them to send replacement coil balances. They also did not ... (cont.)

Hi, the window is an Alside tilt window, where the bottom only tilts out. THe part doesn't have any numbers or anything on it. The only part that is broken is the pivot shoe. I think that what is called...the little cam thing the window slides into. The window is 23 1/2 x 59 1/2. ... (cont.)
