this handle was broken, hole spacing is 4", it's a hook style, i bought one does not fit. please help. thank you. g

This aluminum door had a lock which was a flush mount on the exterior so the screen can slide past. The screws are 4 15/16 inches apart, the length of the opening is 7 3/4 inches and the length of the actual plastic handle is 8 3/8 inches. I found a handle that fits the door (your Legacy Keyed Handle Set 3-15/16" (1-1/8" to 2-1/2") but it does not have the lock, or that little hook that comes out and hooks to that little piece on the doorframe. can you advise as to what handle and lock will work for this door(I have looked around the ... I looking to find a lock for this door. It was not there when my in laws moved in. The measurements are 2 3/8 inches from the center of the top screw hole to the center of the bottom screw hole. the lock slot is about 1 3/4 inches.

The house was built in about 1985 in Nova Scotia. The name on their of the inside door handle is Lockwood. There are code numbers on between the panes of glass. One code is: Lock-pane CMHC 5164 I.D.S. Another code is 84-10. Thank you.
