The plate split just below the bottom screw. We'd like to replace it with something similar. Handle = 9"Installation holes = 3 15/16"The broken plate is approximately 4 5/8" The rest of the mechnism seems to be working properly, but we would consider replacing that too if recommended. I'm having problems opening our sliding glass door. Locksmith recommended that I replace locking mechanism. I suspect locking mechanism and handles date from 1998 when house was built. Rounded locking mechanism appears to be 6 inches long. Don't have a key for door lock. Not needed. ... (cont.)
