Lever is not working smoothly and doesn't always engage. There is a tiny spring on the mortise that appears to have broken at one end? Hello I have a sliding patio door. The only markings are on the glass. PPG Herculite K tempered safety glass. 16CFR1201. Looks like a date of 1984. 1/8U. SGCC - 250. 6023596. I have a milgard patio door which was installed by the builder in 1995. The side of the patio door does not have a slot for locking mechanism which makes me believe it is a surface mount handle set. My neighbor sent me a picture of his handle set which is a surface mount handle set but a little smal ... (cont.)

When closing the door, the lock falls down into the locked position. The lever will not stay up. We think it's a Vinylpro or Provinyl brand door which is no longer in business. Do you have a part that would work for this door?
