Spiral window balance shoe
I have some very old aluminum windows, and I need to replace a few of the spiral window balances. I am having difficulty finding replacement shoes for them on your website, however. Perhaps some expertise is needed. Thanks!

Spiral balance tube
These are from the 1950's I think. Non-tilt window. The foot is 3/8 x 3" long. The tube is 9/16" diameter and 19" long. Each sash weighs about 8#. What would you suggest as a replacement balance and foot. Thanks, Randle

Old wood windows.
Note arm at bottom of spring. This is screwed to the underside of the sash. Top of spring is just screwed to the top of the frame. Windows are from about 1952. Weight of sash is 7 1/2 pounds. Length is about 20 inches and the diameter of the spring shell is 5/8 inches. All as noted in the pictures. ... (cont.)

Replacement for balance
This is a (1936) wood double hung window. The coil is 3/8" and the channel in the sash appears to be 1/2". Would a series 400 spiral balance work? (The description says for aluminum windows). replacement spiral balances
The church building I help maintain needs new spiral balances for the windows. There are no names or markings on the tube. The tube is 39 15/16" long and 5/8" in diameter. Spiral balance with bracket
This photo is a spiral balance 29 inches long by 1/2 wide with a bottom bracket that measures 1-3/4 inch by 3/8 inch. Would a replacement of a series 400 balancer with a bracket #14 work as a replacement? If not, could you recommend one.
