my balance keeps falling!
I have 2 windows that have counter balance problems. The channel balance falls from the window even though I followed the video. As I lift the window up- the channel balance falls. Do I need to change the whole part or just the guides w/ rivet parts. Please advise Thanks

replacement top sash guides
Hello. I've just purchased 8 pair of channel balances from you, which seem to fit perfectly. However, I've discovered that the plastic sash guides on my windows are also broken. Top sash guide for product S390-28
I can't seem to find the correct top sash guide for the above balance. Please see photos and let me know if you have them or what I can use. Note, a piece may be broken off on this one on the front. I believe it has a small lip, not sure. The biggest issue is the screw hole match up. Thanks ... (cont.)

series Series 390 Channel Balances
I have a 5 1984 Milgard single hung aluminum windows with short sashes - the counter balance appears to be the 390 series, but the tube length is only 9". sash weight is 4-5 lbs. I probably also need the top sash guides #18-008 Your help is appreciated

Balance replacement, and plastic stopper
I found that one of my balances had fallen out. I then looked up online on how to remove it in the hopes of installing it in correctly again. However, I found that a few of the plastic pulley wheels in the balance assembly and a plastic bracket/stopper thing that was screwed into the window frame ha ... (cont.)

What top sash guide goes with Series 351 channel balance?
Hi, I recently ordered & received 2 window balances: 17" Series 351 Channel Balance S351-17, option: 1620 I found I need to order a top sash guide & need to know the one to order. It looks like #18-008. Is that the right one? Thanks, Ken M.

Failure of old plastic top cap, need info
My channel balances are popping up due to what appears to be failure of the plastic top cap. I have a balance that looks like the 390 series. Both ends look the same and mine has stampted 2790 which is a 28 inch but it does not show on the available size. What is unique about the 2790?

help me identify the balance and the guide
The balance looks like our Series 390-28 (2740). The top sash guide I don't recognize. I would need dimensions, but look at our 18-008 as a possible replacement.

S390 Channel balance shoes
You can take a look at the shoe by itself, it is 15-001. Let me know if you need more dimensions than what is displayed in the 15-001 product picture.
