Can you help me identify this channel balance part? The frame is 1/2" wide The shoe is 1" depth and 15/16" wing to wing The top has no wings and is 1/2" wide. There is an inscription on the frame saying: '27 4 HP Caldwell' This is the original part from 1996

Hi, I noticed there is only a slight difference between the 350-28 and the 380-28. My windows had the 350 in them and I replaced them and they work fine. I have a non-tilt window that operates with great difficulty. I removed the sash, removed the channel balances, lubed them and replaced. The window works better, but the left channel balance squeals and catches or kind-of ratchets like there is a stuck or broken part somewhere on a pulley wheel. ... (cont.)

Hi- I have a 23 year old home with custom single hung windows with sash window channel balances. The "stamp" on the originals look like this, depending on the size: #2740 28 or #2790 31.
