Hi, this piece is 21 inches long

I need help in identifying the Channel balance. It has number 2040# stamped on it. Length is 21". The window is a Milgard aluminum non tilt window.

customer says part fell out of window (probably since old and brittle) want to replace both sides on 3 windows

Length is 21 in there is a stamp 121

Channels are 21" long 1/2 wide marked 2020. Unsure of window brand.

Hey! I am looking for a proper part for my window. The issue is that the wire has been broken inside and in order to fix that I need to replace the whole channel balance. Your assistant is much appreciated. Best regards, Artem

Hi, I am looking to replace the balancers for my ~1989 Milgard Aluminum window. The window weighs 9.7 pounds. The balancer is imprinted with 2030 J. The balancer is 1/2" (9/16") wide and 21" in length. I think I know which balancer to choose, just not sure the proper way to measure the bottom sh ... (cont.)

Attached are pictures of the channel balance that is in a majority of my 2nd floor windows. The aluminum body is 26 & 3/8 inches long with "2630" stamped on the back. There are also 2 additional windows with identical top and bottom portions. The only difference is that the length is 20 & 3/8 inches ... (cont.)

Hi - thanks so much for offering to identify this for me. The window is from about 1975 and has never been worked on. The length of the channel is 21". The width of the channel is 1/2" The Channel balance fitting depth: 1.08" (27.7 mm) I saw your article about some fittings with pulley wheels ... (cont.)

This is a window balance installed in 1991. It appears that the number 2040 is stamped on the balancer. I would like to purchase four of these to cover 2 matching windows.

Comes off the side of the windows . Has a spring inside
