18-161 5/8" Sash Guide, Norandex

I purchased 5/8 sash guide 18-161 and they work fine for the ones I could replace BUT, some of the windows have a broken piece of plastic in the top of the metal bar that goes up to the sash guide . What is THAT OTHER PART? Channel balance?

Hello trying to select a guide for these old windows. I have 10- 13 windows to rebuild. My guess is with the a little modification the guide 18-161 is the one I order.. I need 2 of these for my window sash

The white plastic cap after 20 years is failing and the sash spring and guide comes flying upward. Is the cap a separate part or combined with the guide. The guide seems to remain intact but I cannot hold the spring down without the top plastic cap.

Trying to find a part to repair an old window. Photo of the label and broken part attached. It is the small piece that attaches to the spring on the side of the to allow the window to raise/lower. Thanks in advance. The plastic plug/part is broken from the window. Ruth

I Have in my cart S380-30 and S380-35 but my plastic piece at bottom of the balance measures 7/8 not one inch and I read some comments that I may need 029 (from Memory) on bottom and you have to make up.
