The stamp for my existing (broken) balance (1/2" X 18" Series 380) is "11/07UNIQUE 17-B-20". I presume that would be replaced with option 1750: 17 to 20 lb. ?

Part 1730 looks like a one time replacement. Cannot find any ID markings on the original Kinco window balance.Overall length is 19" on a 5/8 X 1/2' channel,originally installed on a single hung 36'. I'm looking for 4 replacements. Thanks The House Doctor

I need to replace a 18" Channel Balance, the only info on the old one is 1740H.I have looked on your chart and I believe the best match is your S380-18. Do you know if this is the correct replacement. Thanks

I recently purchased replacement S710-18 channel balances for my Alcan windows. The dimensions of the metal component of the replacement balance is identical to the original balance. The foot and top clip are different. I have attached photos showing the differences. With the replacement balan ... (cont.)

Alcan window installed 1991. Window goes up BUT doesn't stay up. Pics enclosed. Original balancer 18" long. 1/2" wide.

I finally found a channel balance that is 12 inched with your Series 351. I have a 1/2 inch wide channel that is 5/8 inch deep and 12 inches long. The imprint stamped (1110 and B.S.I. imprinted on it). Looks like what I need but I really can't match up the bottom end exactly? I assume one of yours ... (cont.)
