I have Alenco windows in many of my duplex properties. I am having trouble with one unit where the windows are hard to open and close. Some won't stay up. Strings are visible from the balasts on the sides of the sash. These say 2730 on them. The duplex was built in approx. 1995.

I am trying to identify these window balance for replacement. Both window balances measure 28 inches in length and have 1/2 (9/16) inch width. One is stamped 2730 and the other is stamped 2730X.

I need to replace the channel balances on my two non-tilt windows. They are in a condo that was built in about 1984. The balances are marked "27C B.S.I". The metal channel measures 28" long. This is for a non tilt window. The balance has completely come apart, but I was hoping to get an identification before odering. It's 9/16" wide and 28in long.

Channel is 28 inches. nothing printed on it, window manu not known, the channel is a 1/2 channel. I will need about 6 or 7.

The balancer has the number 2730, and the length of the balancer is 28 inches. Please, let me know if you the replacement part available. Thanks, Pablo

Channel weight is 28" Long Metal Part Only!, 2730 is Stamped on channel, Spring is 14" Long tip to tip, When it was given to me the cord was broken and I never saw any metal clips. House was built late 80's.

I had weighted the window and it is 42lbs, or too heavy for the S390. the shoe is 1 1/16" , so I guess it is the S390.

I have two sizes of channel balances. One measures 24" and I need 2 of them and the other measures 28" of which I need 6. All measurements where taken as was described in your YouTube video.
