S500-27 27" Series 500 Spiral Balance

To Swisco, I have to replace many spiral balances. However, they are old and not color coded as the new ones are. I am hoping you will be able to help me identify and supply the balances I need. Hi, Can you advise about parts? The original balance tube is 27"x5/8", the tip has no color, and there are no markings or numbers on the balance. Just want a be sure I get the right replacement sash balances for these windows. House is from 1951. Appear to be 27" x 5/8"? Do I need to remove bottom window to install these? How many spins do i do with spiral tool on each side of window?

These is the length is pictured. The width is between 3/8 and 5/8 but 5/8 should fit just fine. Also need brackets for bottom of window as well as adjustment tool. Please advise what length as I should get here as its between 26 and 27"?

I purchased four sets of replacement window sashes many years ago and installed them with Quaker replacement window channels. They worked fine for awhile but are no longer holding the windows open. I would like to update the sash and balances in my home to a more efficient window. There is no manufacturer marking on either the window or balance. The only markings on the balance is "genuine cushion glide". I appreciate your help, Jake

I am trying to fix a really old window. Attached you will find a picture of where the balance attaches to the bottom of the window. The sash "sleeve" is 27 inches long. It is 5/8 around. Are you able to identify the parts I need for its replacement? Thanks for your help. Zev

Hi, The house was built in 1954 and a brand name on the window says "C-Alwintite".
