S500-27 27" Series 500 Spiral Balance

Hi we have ~18 windows that all need balances. I am unsure what specifically the ones we have are, though I suspect they are spiral balances. Attached photo's of broken balance. I've look everywhere and can't find anything similar to it. I belive is a 3/8 x 27

The old balance springs are 27" long and have yellow tips. I attached a picture - apparently they had plastic covers which are mostly gone. I found a replacement but I'm not sure I have the right one. Also I need the attachment for the bottom of the window. It looks most similar to the red-tipped 2 ... (cont.)

My house is 87 years old. Someone screwed the broken windows shut. Every one of these windows needs spiral replacement. They are 27 inch with a bracket screwed to bottom of window. I am in Fort Pierce, FL. I need a total of eight spiral balances. Four that are 27”x (9/16” diameter), and four that are 31”x (9/16” diameter). They are very old and there is no color code. Also, these are non-tilt windows. They are double hung in wood frames. Photos are incl ... (cont.)

I am replacing the lower sash of a window as part of a bathroom remodel in a first floor addition to my house. The original part of the house is from the 1860s and the extension was built in the early 1950s. I had the lower sash made at the same time I was replacing a lower sash in the original part ... House was built in 1950. There are no markings on window nor the actual spring device. I know I will need to weigh the window in order to determine the spring rate required. i just ordered 816 of the s 200 spiral balances 8 at 27 and 8 at 29 i need the hardware to attached it to the window i didn't know it didn't come with it.I think I ordered the wrong balances I need them to attach to bottom of window can you help me get the Wright ones doing a restoration on a house ... Hello there - I am fixing up an old double hung wooden window in my garage. I need to replace the the two spiral window balances. the tube is 27" and the bottom has a foot that screws into the bottom of the window. Thanks!

5/8" x 27" with the attached clip. The windows are old Wood windows non tilt.

I have a 60s bungalow with wooden sash windows. The sashes are grooved for a spriral balance but none were ever installed. How do I know what length to order? Also, how do I know what mounting bracket to order?

I am trying to fix my non tilt windows. Can you please help me identify the parts needed and if it should be a fairly easy or difficult fix? Hi, I'm trying to replace these sash balances that have no markings to indicate manufacturer. They may have been original to the windows. It's the only system evident, and doesn't appear to be a retrofit. The channels are 5/8" wide, and the balance is ~24 1/2 from top to bottom on a 27"-high sash.Th ... (cont.)

Double hung wood sash. Non tilt window. I don't know the weight of the sash. The plastic outer tube crumbled while dissembling the window. I took the measurement from the top to where I think the bottom is, but you can see the spring extended from the bottom of the balance. I assume I'm looking for ... (cont.)
