S500-29 29" Series 500 Spiral Balance

This spiral balance came out of a 3050 aluminum window. It's about 30 or 40 years old. It's single pane glass, and that's about it. Thank you, Scott

The color looks white to me, can I use the red ones?

They have a plastic casing. I am unsure of which ones I need to get.

The tube is 28 7/8" long. The windows are aluminum, original to house, built in the 70's we believe. One of the pictures show a number "2" on the end piece. My spiral balance on two windows are broken. A pin at top of spiral broke. Tubes are 29 x 1/2 inch with a single pin on bottom with single hole under it. Can you help with suggestion to purchase replacement?

Aluminum sash balances that have stripped the lower spring inserts. Springs are 28.5" length 0.5" diameter. Sash weight approximately 7lbs. S500-29 Balance lnstalled window does not come all the way down Lacks a 1/2 inch

This photo is a spiral balance 29 inches long by 1/2 wide with a bottom bracket that measures 1-3/4 inch by 3/8 inch. Would a replacement of a series 400 balancer with a bracket #14 work as a replacement? If not, could you recommend one.
