Window will not stay up

I have an American Craftsman Series 8500, double hung, installed in 2005.It appears that the lower sash coil spring got damaged and doesn't function.I have not yet taken the Pivot Shoe and Coil Spring out to get exact measurements, but it appears to be very similar to your Coil Housing Pivot 15-087 ... This pivot shoe was damaged within the tract, so I removed it and need a replacement piece. Looking at the window this shoe is from the right side. The shoe was attached to a coiling piece of sheet metal that I needed to unscrew from within the tract. Thank you for your help! On the shoe itself is: ... (cont.)

Need coil springs for both sides of window. Do not know the size of slings there is no size stamped on Case or sping. Sash weight i s 11 lbs and is duel spring.

Jeld-Wen directed me to your site. While I believe the balances are series 140, I'm not sure about the pivot pins.

Coil springs are broken and pivot shoe as well. I need the counter balance for both sides of the bottom sash. The pivot shoe is 9/16 thick and 1 1/4" wide. There were 2 coil springs on each side

5/8th thick, has 3 coils put together and holds up a 30 pound single hung tilt window

I believe I order the right stuff however Im confused to how the double coil mounts onto the mounting brackets since there are two coils. Does one coil go up on one side of the inner track or do they both go up on one side of the inner track and mount to the mounting bracket.

Hello I have 2 double hung windows both windows the upper coil balances are broken I am not sure which one to order could you please give me guidance?

My windows have series 180 coil balances with 15-087 coil housing and 15-086 tandem coil housing. Can I replace this system with series 160 coil balance system and if so what parts do I need for the replacement. Thanks, Gary
