15-086 Tandem Coil Housing

I have a 30H x 48W double hung impact window that the balances on the lower sash have broken. The weight of the window is 48 pounds. The springs are mangled, and some are broken. The spring housing is brittle and broken as well. There are 3 coils on each side of the sash. I could not find any maki ... (cont.)

My 6 lb window left side balance spring housing is broke so I need a replacement. It's a double spring housing I need the upper part. I am sending pictures.

The white coil housing has "PAT 5353548" on it. A previous post stated that 15-086 matches that housing. I couldn't find any markings on the coils. Unfortunately I am unable to locate any stickers or markings on the window. I am not sure what brand they are.

I need a new set of balance coils for an older window. The picture is the only identification indicator on the unit.

M 6 lb. on boots Plastic clips just broke apart and pieces caused jamming issues and the boys just forced window up and down, breaking the shoes. I need 2 of each. There are no bars alongside, thinking the shoes are part S161-06 but don't take my word for it.

Hi I need this pivot shoes cover which is cracked. It had two 4 lb constant force balances in it. If this is not available can I replace it with a single 8 lb pivot shoe. Thank you. Renzo

Traco window part needed to keep window from sliding down. Windows were installed in 2003. We think this is the part that needs replaced.

I am trying to figure out what balance coil I need. It has two springs/coils in each one. I don't know how to remove them. Do I need to notch the window frame as in a U tube video?Sorry there is no name on the window. Help!

"Window balancer" broke. It appears to have 3 parts to it. The white bottom, middle and clear top which is spring loaded to the bottom white parts.

I know you asked for pictures of the parts removed, but I don't really know how to do that. I'd be glad to try with guidance. I have a slightly different style of coil balance than your series 161, but the specifications seen to match (it's 9/16 thick and 1 1/4 wide). I couldn't read the rating on it, but it appears to be a 6, although the window weighed 10.4 lbs when I checked it. Is a pair of 6 lb series 161 coil balance ... (cont.)

Its the part that helps the window up and it has the number 8 on it so guess that 8 pounds

The coil was damaged and I would like to replace both coils. The windows are Thermal Gard 500 series from around 2007. I also looks like I either need to use a spreader tool or make cut-outs to remove the coil housing balance. Please provide part numbers and any guidance/instructions. ... (cont.)
