15-192 CertainTeed Pivot Shoe

I can't find much in the way of markings but the double hung windows that I'm having issues with are both 36"wide x 48" tall and the windows weigh in at 16#. The pivot shoes split at the bottom and fall out causing the window to drop unsupported by the coils. I'm assuming that I should replace the ... (cont.)

No markings. Shoe measures 1 1/4 x 1 9/16. Coil is about 1 1/8 Window is about 15 years old. Contractor installed. I think it's not high quality. Probably medium to low quality. Thanks

are they all same sizes need like 8-10 0f them

Replacing window portion of 25 year old Simonton windows. While replacing realized that plastic cam inside coil balance is cracked and non-functioning. Coil has 407 imprinted on it but no other markings noted.

Existing balance and balance shoe only have "China" markings and no part numbers

I have pivot 15-192 listed to notify me when parts are available. My question is do I need a tool to remove the pivot and spring assembly? Do you have the tool available to remove and install the pivot/spring assembly? Thank you.

Hello, I have Certainteed double-hung windows, installed prior to 2004 (unsure when). The bottom sash of one window won't stay up, and when I removed the window I found that the coil spring has snapped on both sides. I am in need of a replacement pivot shoe for the bottom sash of a double hung window. I believe that it is a Simonton Window and have included a picture of the sticker which can be found on the sash.
