Need window balances for certainteed single hung vinyl windows. Made in 4/2005 number on balances is 48637MXX sash is 30" tall by 32" wide and weighs 18.2 lbs. see pictures.

Hello, I am trying to locate some replacement parts for Simonton Vinyl double hung windows. A lot of the cam bars have broken so I may as well replace the other parts since I have to take the windows out right??

Images are from a good window of similar size. The Certainteed pivot shoe broke off the spring in the track. I have sash in place by only the lock. I need assistance identify the correct part(s) to order. These windows were installed in Spring 2000.

Hello, We are looking for a coil spring and metal connecting rod for a kitchen window . We think the window is a Simonton, but we are not sure. The window was installed by Sears in 2003. I've lubricated the tack and the part of the window that pivots, but the window still exhibits a great deal of tension when opening and closing the window. Is the part I need the one in the picture I submitted? And if so, can you direct me to the replacement part I'll need?

I have a Simonton double-hung window that is about 12 years old in my home. I need one RH dual-coil balance with the sash carrier, but I don't know what weight. I also need two pivot bars. Do I need to weigh my window to get the correct balance?

There are two coiled springs and two holders found approximately one half way up the left and right sides of the window sashes. Each coiled spring appear to be broken. We need to replace both right and left pivot shoe assembly. It's broken and the window doesn't stay open, it slams down. The plastic pieces that fit in at the bottom of the window are broken in pieces.

I have two window sashes that won't stay up. They both use the coil system, and am looking for replacement parts. Is it possible to change the coil system to a spring system when I replace the parts? OR does it have to be replaced like for like?
